PLATEAU EX GOV DEATH; NASARAWA YOUTHS CONDOLE GOVERNOR JANG

The Youths group under the aegis of Nasarawa State Youths Network (NASTYNET) has commiserated with the Plateau State Governor, Jonah David Jang and the good people of the state over the death of the former governor, Michael Botmang.

In a statement issued in Keffi on Saturday and made available to the news men by its National President, Ibrahim Kabiru Dallah, noted that Michael who served with distinction as the Governor of Plateau State for over a year during the trying time of the State.
“As the former Youths group of Plateaus State now in Nasarawa State, we received with much sadness, news of the sudden passing away of the highly respected former Governor of Plateau State, Michael Botmang as any other well meaning Nigerian”, the Statement read.
The youths group believes that Botmang, who brought immense sagacity, maturity and years of political experience to his leadership as the Governor of Plateaus State, will be greatly missed by the good people of Plateau and all lovers of peaceful co-existence and national unity.
“On behalf of my humble self and the leadership of the Nasarawa State Youths Network (NASTYNET), we extend our sincerest condolences to Botmang’s family, the Government and good people of Plateaus State”, its said.
“ We pray that God Almighty will comfort Botmang’s family, his friends, Government, political associates and good people of Plateaus State as they mourn their departed patriarch and leader”, the Statement added.
