Findings have revealed that, the Lagos State Government, is currently paying only 300 corps members out of the over 2000 corps members posted to ministries, primary and secondary schools.

There has been intense bribery rocking the selection of the 300 corps members who are being paid by the state Government, as the State Coordinator Akhanemhe Cyril, and NYSC Directors in the State are said to be piloting a bribery gang, that takes between 10,000 and 15,000 from Corps Members to enlist them among the 300 corps members which the State Government pays monthly.

According to sources, Lagos state pays only 300 Corps members and after posting, you will go to ministry of special duties to get number the number they will share that day won’t be up to 30.

The State coordinator, has assigned the role to one of the Directors, who in turn makes return to him.
We gathered that, majority of corps members without connection or money to bribe end up rendering voluntary services all through their NYSC year in Lagos state.

Investigation by Secret Reporters shows that, the bribery gang was cooked and conspired right from camp, with Mrs. Maria Osadebe and her three boys giving posting letter to their candidates before time so that they can be among the first three hundred.

Sources who also spoke with our medium said, The NYSC officials tells corps members who are novice to report straight to their place of primary assignment and tell their candidates to immediately report to Alausa where ministry of special duties is located and get their number so they could be among the first three hundred.

Even in Alausa, Ministry of Special Duties, the Director of NYSC and other officials are hoarding the forms, and only give it to those who can pay them.

Efforts to speak with the Lagos State NYSC Public Relations Officer on this were unsuccessful.
