Except there is a change of heart by President Goodluck Jonathan, more Ministers and aides will be thrown out next week. One of such person who may not survive the hammer is the Supervising Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike for failing to declare his real assets to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).
According to a Presidential source, the President has decided to sack Wike and he wants to use his false assets declarations as the excuse for kicking him out. Acting under powers from above the CCB invited the Minister to its office today in Abuja for serious questioning for Six hours and 47 minutes, as he sweated to defend all his illegal acquisitions since his days as the local government Chairman of Obio/Akpor.
According to our eagle eyes source who witnessed his moment of torture, the CCB brought out list of companies and properties owned by him, while comparing them with the ones he declared. We gathered that he tried unsuccessfully to deny them. Following his invitation, he may be forced to tender his own resignation letter soon and it will be hinged on his gubernatorial ambition.
Another source confirmed to us that the President is willing to mend fences with Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and he is ready to sack Wike to achieve his purpose.
