Secret Reporters
The last may not have been heard on the Appeal Court judgment delivered in Abuja on Friday, December 19, 2015.
Recollect that, a five-man panel of judges at the appellate court unanimously dismissed an interlocutory application filed by the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Emmanuel Udom over the lack of locus standi of the petitioners, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate, Umana Umana.
A top source who spoke with our medium, and has also monitored the Umana’s campaign said, the former SSG in Akwa Ibom sold his choice property in Victoria Island(V.I) to procure the judgment of the Appeal Court.
This property was said to have been acquired during his sting as the Akwa Ibom State SSG.
According to our sources, Umana was convinced based on the assurances he was given before he sold his VI mansion to invest in the Judgment.
From the information Secret Reporters gathered, the men who helped him bought the Court judgment had delivered on their job, which was what they were paid for and were not contacted for the supreme court deal.
With this in the offing, Umana was confident of also winning the case at the Supreme Court, so the need to follow up the Supreme Court Judges with cash was not necessary, as the Appeal Court judgment was to be relied on, as the PDP beat him to the case.
