FACE OFF: IGP ORDERS IMMEDIATE WITHDRAWAL OF ALL POLICEMEN ATTACHED TO FANI KAYODE, CHRIST EMBASSY, EMEKA OFFOR, NICHOLAS MUTU, PROPHET OMALE AND OTHERS

The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, have ordered the immediate withdrawal of police personnel attached to individuals and corporate organizations across the country with immediate effect.

This directive was contained in a letter dated 4th November 2020, addressed to the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Department of operations and the Commissioners of Police in charge of PMF, SPU, and CPU ordering them to immediately withdraw officers attached to unentitled individuals and companies while filing a detailed breakdown of their names, ranks and locations.

“In line with the subsisting order, the Inspector General of Police directs that you withdraw all the PMF, SPU, CTU or conventional police operatives attached to the above listed companies/individuals in any of their locations across the country with immediate effect.” the letter read.

Some of the individuals listed in the document as seen by SecretReporters include; Senator Lado Yakubu, Ambasador Yaguda Bashir, Hon. Uche Chukwu, Sen. Boroface Ajayi, Hon. Prince Ukachukwu, Femi Fani Kayode, Hon. Mutu Nicholas, Prince Yahaya Audu, Sen. Tokumbo Afikoyomi, Sen. Bashir G. Mohammed, Sen. Magnus Abe, Emeka Offor, Amen Rochas, Chief Duru Mike Ejiogu, Chief Remichrist Nwagbo, Capt. Ibrahim Mshelia, Ibrahim Wawa, hon. Abiola Sidna Peller, Hon. Chris Giwa, and Chief Godwin Ekpo.

Others are; the MD Summer Set Limited, Mr Suleiman Idris, the former DG NEMA, Mr Mustapha Y. Maihaj, former Minters of Environment, Hon. Sulieman Hassan, Former SGF Eng. Baba David Lawal, Prophet Omale Emmanuel of the Divine Hand of God Church, and the Chairman Ocean Marine Limited.

The list also contained organizations like; Think Nigeria First investment, Apo Apartments, Eddinho Nig. LTD Guinness, Oriental Energy Resources, Nuel Ojie Holding Company, RCC Nig. Limited, Association of Indigenous Contractors, Salini Nig Limited, BDA goup, Jotandi Services, Curlew Express Limited, Sunti Golden Sugar Estate, KYC Holdings, Kebo Links Int’l Ltd, Builder Hub Impact Investment Program, Ochacho Real House Ltd and kaztec Engineering Ltd.

Sheiks, Bishops and religious institutions like Christ embassy and ECWA Academy were also not left out.

The various Police chiefs were however, given not later than Tuesday 10th November 2020, to submit a letter of compliance to the directive by Inspection General of Police.

It should be recalled that the IGP had earlier directed the withdrawal of police personnel from individuals and companies following the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS in the wake of the protest by Nigerians calling for a reform of the Nigerian Police.
