CRIMINAL BANK: UNDERMINING POLICE OPERATIONS, FIRST BANK CONVERTS POLICE PATROL VEHICLES AS BANK PROPERTIES IN OWERRI AS POLICEMEN REMAIN HELPLESS

Secret Reporters

As the Nation’s fight against criminality continues, with President Buhari also leading the fight against corruption, one bank has stood out to weaken the structures of fighting crimes in Owerri, the Imo State Capital.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), had recently said, their attention has been shifted to the banking sector, who aides politicians to launder cash.

Secret Reporters investigation shows that, First Bank in Owerri, has been using two police Nissan patrol vehicles for escort of First bank specie movement, which they pay N25,000 on each of the vehicles daily, from Mondays through Fridays.

We can authoritatively report that,, the patrol vehicles have not been used for a single day on crime prevention or anti crime patrol, since they were brought from the police headquarters in Abuja last year.

Further investigation reveals that, the monies paid by First bank, which is N250,000 per week, does not go to the police purse, but goes to the private pocket of CSP Alani Waheed, who is Commander of CTU base 7, Owerri, which the bank has been conniving with to perpetrate this criminal act.

The bank in its nature, has refused to buy their escort vehicles, but prefers to hire the police vans, and deny the policemen the instruments to be used for surveillance, and also deny the masses the protection which the police owes the society.

Sources who spoke with our medium said, there are bad vehicles left for the policemen to carry out their jobs, as first bank has taken possession of their vans.
