This is not the best of times for citizens of Kogi state, as the state Governor, Yahaya Bello, continues to dwindle the state’s finances with his elephant projects, and siphoning the state money through the back door.
Secret Reporters findings shows that, the Governor’s office, which was built by Ibrahim Iris, former Governor of the state, at the cost of ninety million Naira, (90,000,000), has been renovated at the cost of one billion, six hundred million Naira by Yahaya Bello.
Sources who spoke with our medium, expressed bitterness over the attitude of the Governor in stealing money through the backdoor, in a state, still struggling to pay salaries of workers, including pile of salary arrears, which the State Governor, has refused to pay.
