Secret Reporters No place to hide
The madness of the All Progressive Congress (APC) was displayed today as thugs who are believed to be loyalist to the Sokoto State governor, Mr Aliyu Wamakko took laws into their hands this morning by setting ablaze properties belonging to the opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to those who witnessed the political show of shame, the APC thugs first arrived a popular joint where PDP youths meet at Runjin Sambo area, beat them up before burning down the place. The PDP youths we gathered summoned themselves from other parts of the community and began to engage the APC thugs with weapons, while burning down structures also belonging to the APC as well as any billboard that had the governor on it.
Sources within the state told our reporter that the APC youths are angry with the state deputy governor, Barrister Mukhtari Shehu Shagari, who despite pledging his loyalty to the governor has not defected to the APC with his boss. The deputy governor is currently the party leader in the state following Wamakko’s exit
