Baring last minute change of plan, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will be getting letters from Mr Peter Nwaoboshi lawyers urging them to stop further probe of him and his brother or sealing off any of his properties.
According to our insider sources, the charge and bail lawyer has instructed his lawyers to file a motion before the Federal High Court in Asaba so as to keep EFCC off his back. “We are sure he has already gone there to even file for injunction but we cannot confirm it this minute”, a reliable source told Secret Reporters.
Since the sealing off of the N10 billion Guinea House acquired through illegal means, Nwaoboshi representing Delta North in the Nigeria Senate now talks on the road while working, stopping to judge to anyone his ordeals, even when he’s not asked.
His going to court in Asaba instead of Abuja is to give him the home advantage of influencing the judge to give an injunction against the commission.
