Secret Reporters

The Aniocha Federal Constituency House of Reps PDP primaries that produced Ndudi Elumelu and others is tearing Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa’s cabinet apart.

After defeating the current holder, Joan Mrakpor, SecretReporters can authoritatively report that the result will not stand as the governor wants a re-run.

Mr Okowa accused those in charge of allowing Ndudi Elumelu to share food at the venue of the primaries, which he believed was a form of inducement. The governor is bitter that Mrakpor lost the election to Elumelu who’s known to be an unstable party man.

In anger, he has ordered the party to conduct a fresh election that will likely see Mrakpor win. The Anioma born governor we learnt is unhappy with his key men whom he accused of masterminding the loss of his favourite House of Representatives member.

Our government house impeccable sources disclosed that Okowa has been in shock since the results of the primaries became public. The governor had called the various party chairmen to ask why the delegates voted against the supreme order from him, a question they could not give an answer to.

In Delta Central Senatorial primaries, the clear choice was Mr Ighoyota Amori, we can reliably confirm even though the governor may deny it but he was stampeded to defeat by Ms Evelyn Oboro. In Ughelli Federal Constituency, where government house wanted Solomon Awhinawhi to win, he was thrashed by a House of Assembly member, Samuel Mariere, who is known to be loyal to only the people, without regards to political authority.

In Warri Federal Constituency, we gathered that the governor wanted the current holder, Daniel Reyneju to return but was destroyed by a fresher to politics and illiterate billionaire, Thomas Eriyetomi.

In Ethiope Federal Constituency, the delegates voted Ben Igbakpa against the governor’s wish.

In the House of Assembly election, his men who he anointed also kissed the political dust, as Reuben Izeze flogged the chosen one. In Isoko, Uvwie and other local government, there was also disobedience to his order, an action which is currently causing him a sleepless night.

There’s currently disquiet in governor’s lodge, competent sources revealed to SecretReporters but the governor is pretending that all is well.

“His chances in 2019 election are made slimmer with the results of the primaries as those who lost will decamp, I can assure you. Okowa can’t dump us and expect us to protect his vote. Who does he want to retire when he rides to government house? Let all of us including him just leave government together. “, one of his key men who lost disclosed to us.
