A recent finding showed that Asiru Azeez Adelani, a National Centre for Women Development (NCWD) board member, was involved in activities that potentially breached the Code of Conduct Bureau Act for public officers.
The findings revealed that Adelani, through association with Hef Consulting Limited, received contracts amounting to a staggering 134,616,473.2 Nigerian Naira, breaching the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act.
This discovery raises significant ethical and legal questions, given the strict regulations imposed by Section 6(B) of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act. This section clearly stipulates that public officers, unless not employed on a full-time basis, are prohibited from managing or participating in any private business ventures, with the exception of farming.

On the 01, February 2022, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency made a payment of N44,368,000.00 to Hef Consulting Limited for the Supply of 800,000 pcs of 0.5ml ad syringes (BCG) for Niger State to North Central zonal cold store Minna.
On 15 December 2021, the Federal College of Education Oyo made a payment of N32,546,574.23 to Hef Consulting Limited for the grading of access roads at Okitipupa/ Irele constituency, Ondo State.
Findings show that Hef Consulting Limited was incorporated in Ibadan, Nigeria, on 27 February 2009 with registration number 804135, and its status is unknown.
The company has seven key management personnel, among whom is Asiru Azeez Adelani, a board member of the National Centre for Women Development (NCWD).
