CRIMINAL: GOV.UDOM’S SA ON STUDENTS’ AFFAIRS WAS RUSTICATED FOR EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE

Secret Reporters

The last may not have been heard about the Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on students’ affairs, as Secret Reporters investigation proves that, Otobong Akpan otherwise known as Aquila, was rusticated from the University of Uyo, Faculty of Agriculture in her final year when she was caught with a full textbook cheating, and there was no escape route for her to throw away the textbook before she was caught.

We have been reliably informed that, Aquila was nominated into the position of SA by one of the political office holders in Akwa Ibom State, and the Governor, does not even know her.

Otobong Akpan, whom we reported earlier, as having plans to inaugurate a parallel executive of the Joint Campus Committee (JCC), had accordingly gone ahead with the hatched plans.

Our further investigation shows that, after her rustication from the university, Otobong had to return to the university as a fresh student, and she is currently a 200level student in the Faculty of Education.

Although the man who nominated her for the position of SA, had deceived Governor Udom Emmanuel that Otobong Akpan was a university graduate, who had taken an NYSC exemption, where upon this, her appointment was approved by Udom where she had thereafter picked up her appointment letter from the Secretary to the State Government(SSG), Mr.Etekamba Umoren.

As at the time of filling this report, there are moves by the Students Union Presidents in the State to issue a press release, disowning Otobong Akpan and her purported JCC Executive members.
