Strong facts of events happening, have emerged from the Akwa Ibom State Government house, that the state Governor, Udom Emmanuel has ordered that policemen of Akwa Ibom State Origin currently serving in Government house, be sent away.
Secret Reporters investigation proves that, Udom’s Aide- De- Camp(ADC), has forcefully redeployed Akwa Ibom State Police Indigenes from the hiltop mansion, on the orders of the State Governor.
The ADC, DSP Abimiku Livinus, who ordered the redeployment of 17 policemen, said his Excellency told him that Akwa Ibomites are too many in the Government House, Uyo.
He further said that, the second list of other Akwa Ibom police indigenes to be removed will be out soon.
The ADC was quoted as saying, that His Excellency said, “he needed only two hundred police men in government House as a way of cutting costs.” And ordered that only Akwa Ibom people be redeployed.
Further investigations revealed that, Governor Udom Emmanuel while acting as Secretary to State Government had ordered a Sergeant to be redeployed for greeting him “asiere” when the former SSG came out to remove a document from his official car about 1am at midnight.
Further checks shows that, the use of local language in the Government house, may be the only reason why they were kicked out, as the Governor expects them to be speaking English Language, sources told our medium.
A call placed to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Cordelia Nwawe proved abortive as she did not take her call, to react on the issue.
