In the global arena of politics, Nigeria has become a field of play where old men masquerade as players making ridiculous antics all in the name of the game.
Recently, Hon. David Lawrence who’s the member representing Eket Constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly ran to town with his achievement, since he was elected into the chambers.
According to Lawrence, he has performed above average and deserves to be given a return ticket. While praising himself for representing his constituents, he noted that he always get Governor Emmanuel Udom to meet with elders from his local government.
During the course of the meeting, he stated that the state fund is shared to the elders, with each of them smiling home with N1 million. We could not verify how much Lawrence takes home after the meeting which he facilitates.
