Secret Reporters
Adolf Hitler is reborn, not in Germany this time but Nigeria, a struggling African country. All around him smells evil; his gaze oozes wickedness and his temper thunderous enough to cause even the bravest of hearts who’s not a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a blue chip company to scamper for safety. The snap of his fingers are like arrow shots and his breath when about to speak dishes out darts. Those who know him say he’s ruthless in action, yet full of scandals. Yes, Adolf Hitler is reincarnated in Tokunbo Abiru, the Managing Director/CEO of Skye Bank.
Aiming for the Skye, Abiru is set to crash like a rain-beaten bird if the current song of doom playing is allowed to complete its cycle, as the bank may soon crumble and customers still banking with them thrown into mourning.
SecretReporters can authoritatively report that Skye Bank and its MD will soon be frequent guests to the Police Headquarter, Lagos, to answer questions on why they demolished houses built on 200.184 hectares of land in Lekki, Lagos State.
In one of the documents in our possession, a law firm called Reagan Nzeteh and Co. wrote to the MD of Lekki Gardens Estate Limited for trespass to land, willful/criminal/malicious damage of our clients’ properties in Abule Parapo Phase 2 in Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Awoyaya, Lagos, by Skye Bank Plc/Skye Trustees Limited.
The law firm affirmed that contrary to Skye Bank’s claim of owning the land, their numerous clients who are members of the Glorious Villa Community Development Association duly registered with Ibeju LGA via registration no: ILLG/ARSD/6A/18/22.
“Our clients are the beneficial owners of the plots of land comprised in the said 200:184 hectares of land in which they acquired their legal interest from the respective fifty-five families who own the total 200”184 hectares, which ownership they acquired by way of inheritance from their forefathers. On the basis of this legal ownership, the respective families alienated their interest in the lands to our clients as Bonafide Purchasers who then became legal owners of the properties without any encumbrance whatsoever, the families having executed Deeds of Assignment in their favor”. The letter was written on August 13th 2018.
In another letter obtained by us, the Inspector General of Police through the AIG, Zone 2 Lagos State Headquarters directed investigations into the act carried out by the Abiru instigated demolition. The letter written to the AIG on August 7th 2018 was signed by DCP Usman A.K Umar.
To crumble the bank, the victims of Abiru’s evil machination have demanded N10 billion, as compensation.
Sources who confided in this medium noted that the MD decided to arm-twist the law and used security agents to pull down years of sweat of Nigerians, in an alleged move to build his own palatial mansion, in the fast developing area of Lagos State. This he did without any court order, narrated one of the victims.
SMS sent to the bank’s Corporate Communication Director, Mr Rasheed Bolarinwa was not responded to as at press time.
This country is doomed with this type of people at the coorridor of power.
