London Na Your Mate: Delta Lawmaker Grilled By UK Immigration For Over Two Hours And Turned Back At The Airport

The toga of ‘big man’ was stripped of a Nigerian legislator today right inside the Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom, SecretReporters can authoritatively report.

The lawmaker from Delta State who’s a Principal officer boarded British Airways from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 9:30 am using taxpayers’ money to sit in Business class, gathered our source in London.

As soon as he got to the point of entry (POE), he was asked to step aside for a search while other travelers were asked brief questions and asked to proceed. The lawmaker who is from Delta North was asked to open his luggage by the aged immigration female officer who asked him several questions.

“I am a legislator”, he told the immigration officer, which seem to have infuriated her, and ordered him to call the hospital he was going to for medical treatment, which he claimed was his reason for coming to London.

Standing transfixed like the Statue of Liberty, the lawmaker made efforts to call the hospital all to no avail. He also called his wife to start sending him documents via WhatsApp which he kept showing to the officer of the law, who remained unsatisfied.

Before our source who was monitoring the events for over two hours left the airport, the lawmaker was asked to step aside waiting for further instructions from the top who will decide his fate of entry or not.

The Delta State House of Assembly members just came back last month from London where they went for two weeks training before this embarrassing situation happened to one of their colleagues today.
