GOV OKOWA CAGED: SSS OFFICIALS ATTACHED TO HIM CHANGED AHEAD OF 2019 TO MONITOR STATE ACTIVITIES

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State may have a titanic battle ahead of 2019 election as the security apparatus will be changed to bring in officials loyal to the Presidency and the All Progressive Congress (APC), sources revealed to Secret Reporters.

To test run the plan, PDP States such as Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa and Ekiti will have new State Security Service (SSS) Directors in guise of nationwide transfer. The change of leadership by the SSS sources in the command revealed is to pave way for persons who will come solely for monitoring political activities in the state as well as the movement and conversation of the state governors and top government functionaries.

Delta State SSS Command we can report authoritatively already has a new Director, one Mrs Otubu, married to a former Army General, Major General S.O Otubu who died in the ill-fated plane crash that killed ten Army Generals, one Lt-Colonel and two Wing Commanders during Olusegun Obasanjo era.

According to our SSS source, Mrs Otubu was directed to remove old hands who have served in the state for long and perceived to be sympathetic to the state government, as well as officials working in government house and attached to the State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa.

Her first assignment we gathered was to compile the list of seven SSS details in government house and known to be officers who cannot be used for political intrigues of 2019 and send their names to headquarters for transfers.
Over fifty officials apart from Okowa’s details were also transferred, mainly to the Northern parts of the country.

Secret Reporters is yet to get the name of the affected government house SSS details removed, but our headquarter sources revealed that they were mandated to resume at the new command latest next week Monday or be declared deserter.

New officials mainly Northerners will be deployed to serve as security details to Okowa, who will track all his movement and conversations and send to headquarter to keep the governor and his officials under check.
“Okowa has just been bugged but doesn’t know it. He will now be a pawn in the hands of the opposition with all his political actions known to the presidency and the command”, one of our SSS sources disclosed.

The new SSS Directors for Rivers, Bayelsa and Ekiti will resume before the end of September, and all that happened in Delta State will also take place unless there is a change in plan, we learnt further.

With this development, it means that Okowa has worked with three SSS Directors in less than two years in office.

Apart from the SSS officials of State Government removed, another arm of the Federal Government that will be redeployed to serve the opposition and Presidency is the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) whose sole aim will be to project only the APC candidates while running down the PDP as a party and the government of the states they govern. We gathered authoritatively that all the Zonal Directors will be changed to bring in those who can deliver.

It will be recalled that Secret Reporters had exclusively reported on how over four hundred SSS officials tendered their resignation letter over the DG’s financial recklessness and lack of welfare package which turned out to be true.
