Secrets Reporters
There is an ongoing evil cum injustice in the faculty of Law at the Benue State University involving Frank Ijege and the Dean of the faculty.
Secrets Reporters gathered that, Frank Ijege, who is a graduate in law from the university, who graduated as the second best student in the faculty, has not been mobilized for the 2015/2016 session of the Nigerian Law School, due to the negligence of his supervisor, who deliberately refused to submit his long essay with connivance with the dean of the faculty.
Reports from our source indicates that Frank Ijege had completed his final exams on the 22 November, 2014, with anticipation of attending Law school soon, and had completed his long essay before 28th February, 2015, with a CGPA of not below an average 4.05 since his first year.
It has been gathered that in a bid to frustrate their best brains, due to academic attainment, the dean of the faculty and the supervisor decided to do away with his long essay, by hiding it inside a packing store to make mobilization difficult even when he had been scored since march 18,2015.
Although the Dean of the faculty, Dr. Emmanuel Kenen, in a bid to cover up their evil act with Dr.Vitalis Tarhule, said the faculty had exhausted the quota given them by the Nigerian Law School.
As fate may have it, one of the prospective candidates for the Nigerian Law School wrote to the Dean, intimating him of her withdrawal for the 2015/2016 academic session of NLS.
As the evil plot continued, Dr. Emmanuel Kenen refused to include Frank’s name on the available slot, insisting he must give the slot to a spill over graduate.
Fresh facts emerged from our findings that the process of mobilization to NLS has been purely on merit, based on CGPA, the Dean has continued to ignore the merit process.
Secrets Reporters findings from our correspondent in Makurdi shows that the list was released on the 22 June, 2015, which Frank Ijege’s name was still missing.
An effort to speak with the Dean of the Faculty of law, Dr. Emmanuel Kenen on this, was unsuccessful as his mobile phone was not connecting.
