SecretReporters learnt that the three-term lawmaker representing Warri Federal Constituency under the banner of the People’s Democratic Party since 2007, Mr Reyenieju Daniel failed woefully to secure a ticket that might enable him return to the green chambers for the fourth time from his party the Peoples Democratic Party after coming fourth in the PDP primary elections held for his constituency on Wednesday, October 3 at Warri City Stadium, Warri in Delta State.
Political confused the House of Reps member who allegedly out of greed to die in office, failure to deliver on his campaign promises, and mass rejection by party members have now decided to ride on the horseback of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) after several attempts to pitch tents with various political parties were turned down.
Mr Reyenieju lost out to Thomas Ereyitomi, the former Chairman of Ugborodo Community Trust in Warri South-West Local Government Area and an Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality representative in the Board of DESOPADEC, who polled 117 votes to defeat his closest rival, Hon. Daniel Mayuku of Delta State House of Assembly, who scored 108 votes.
