An In-law to former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Evangelist Patience Akpabio, has been caught up in a fraud and sexual scandal involving a fiancée to her cousin.
Secret Reporters gather trouble started when the Ex to her cousin demanded for money owed her in the relationship which had gone sour, with the man having gone to propose and engage another lady for marriage.
Patience Akpabio, who’s resident in USA, has been issuing threats to the estranged Ex, threatening to “deal with her” if she doesn’t let the soon-to-be couple be in peace. On a post on her Facebook page; she cursed and threatened the former lover, an act described as very disgraceful and embarrassing owing to her personality and status as an evangelist.
The estranged lover, on her part has sworn to get back her money despite the avalanche of threats coming from the Senator’s in-law.
Facebook users and citizens alike have given dissenting opinions on the issue and shown their discontent and displeasure at the level of pomposity exhibited by the Evangelist who shouldn’t be meddling with such issues.
Sources report Pat Akpabio has allegedly been involved in sex romps with young men in and around Akwa Ibom and has reportedly built and furnished a 2-bedroom apartment for one of his sex partners who’s resident in the state among a host of allegations leveled against the former governor’s in-law, with residents of the area calling her SUGAR MUMMY owing to her sex escapades with young men in the state.
One of those who called her out is through her facebook page is Alice Ononokpono. She wrote:
