Various sources have reveal that the current Surveyor-General of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Ebisintei Bietoru Awudu, is allegedly involved in gigantic fraud and money laundering.
Investigation shows that, the Surveyor-General has converted his office into a money milling company, and submits staff names for DTA Estacodes, on weekly basis, which he later withdraws same. Findings shows that, he withdraws over N5 million Naira weekly, which he collects in cash or it is paid into First Bank account, Account No: 2001876886. With account name: Ebisintei B Awudu. Two weeks ago on Friday, the sum of N230, 000 was deposited into the same account from the Account department of the Surveyor General’s office. There are series of staff in the office paying into his personal bank account.
The Director of Finance and Account is an accomplice in the money laundering, as he aids the Secretary General of the Federation (SGF),Babachir Lawal with the fraud, by covering every loophole, which looks traceable. Further findings show that, He recently collected several millions for a trip to China without going, and has spent N4 million to renovate a lift built by his predecessor for N100 million. As at the time of this report, a request for the payment of N297 million as balance to a contractor is being sought at the SGF budget office. This money is meant for “settling” the office Ogas.” alleged a source.
Findings also show that, recently, a contract has been advertised, where the SGF is already working on having an agreement with the would-be-contractors, to open bogus accounts to divert state funds. Not done with his corrupt lifestyle, sources say, the sum of N3,690,513,750 allocated to the SGF office by Sambo Dasuki for the purchase of satellite imagery was grossly misappropriated.
According to our sources, “The imagery were acquired, but at extortionist cost, with the former Surveyor-General, also diverting this fund to a special account in Fidelity Bank, where they withdrew the money in bits, with the aid of the former Director of Finance and Accounts.
The same DFA Secret Reporters learnt, had advised Senator Stella Oduah to purchase the ill fated bulletproof cars.
