Barring any last minute change in plan, Nigerians will be witnessing the first change of the incoming General Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government from May 29th as soon as he is sworn in.
Moving away from what obtained in the past where Heads of States and Presidents are addressed as ‘His Excellency’ in official and non official gathering, Buhari and his Vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will not be bearing any of such bogus and intimidating title.
This was disclosed to selected political editors of some mainstream Newspaper when the GMB media team had a lunch meeting with them at the Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, where his official portrait was also unveiled.
The VP is to be addressed as Prof Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, while Muhammadu Buhari will be addressed as President, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
