Amnesty boss Ndiomu is sponsoring protests to cover his loot, cries Ex Niger Delta agitators

Our attention has been drawn to a publication made through “mangrove pen” dated 25th January 2023, which states that “Niger Delta ex-agitators commend Ndiomu, solicit support of stakeholders, delegates”.

This is to inform the general public that we the leadership of Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network (NDADN) will not praise or commend General Barry Tariye Ndiomu (rtd) in the said publication or any other publication for that matter, that this publication is frivolous, cheap, and baseless.

This is betrayal of the highest order and we assure the our dear delegates that the authors and signatories will be brought to book.
NDADN will never get involved in such fraudulent activities. We have shown the public on different occasions through our protest in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State at the government house where we expressed our grievances over the delisted delegates and their non-payment by Gen Barry Ndiomu Tariye (rtd). We also protested in warri Delta State at Effurun Roundabout to notify the public before proceeding to the National Assembly in Abuja over the injustice done by the newly appointed interim administrator “Gen Barry Ndiomu Tariye” and that prompted the Amnesty office to make payment the same day.

We have raised an alarm and made public notice over unpaid stipends of some ex-agitators as at when payment was made, and we are working seriously to ensure that all ex-agitators get paid.

The general public should take note that, Ndiomu has willfully failed and neglected to pay some of our ex-agitators till date despite the allocation of such sums in the budget for the Amnesty programme as signed by federal government in December 2022.

The public should take note that “Gen Barry Ndiomu Tariye” the interim administrator has warned ex agitators with a publication made on 22nd January 2023, which states that “JOIN PROTESTS AND RISK SUSPENSION: STRACOM WARNS AMNESTY DELEGATES WITH BVN RELATED CASES”
… Says About 750 Ex-agitators Cleared, Others Awaiting Clearance.

The Strategic Communication Committee (STRACOM) of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), has advised delegates with BVN related cases to remain calm as the adhoc verification committee of PAP has rectified about 750 cases, awaiting approval for payment, warning that any affected ex-agitator who joins any protest in respect of the BVN matter will be suspended from the programme”.

We are aware that, Ndiomu has been busy sponsoring group of people to make series of publication to cover his looting. He has bought one “Mr.Owoupele Eneorikumoh and Mr. Richard Ominidougha to ochestrate the said cheap publication to blackmail NDADN. It’s unprofessional and barbaric of “Gen Barry Tariye Ndiomu to warned protesters.

We the leadership of Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network (NDADN), assures the public that, no amount of threats, conspiracy, lies and intimidation will stop our protest if “Gen Barry Tariye Ndiomu fails to pay all outstanding stipends over 3-4 months. We will not hesitate to take necessary actions more than protest if Ndiomu fails to pay all outstanding stipends.

We are using this medium to inform everyone that, our state coordinators, particular Priye Noel Esq. remains the coordinator of Ondo State chapter.

Signed,

Mewariwei Boyed Alfred, National Chairman Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network (NDADN)

Endurance Eferusuoa, National Secretary Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network (NDADN)
