AKWA UNITED LOOKING TO BOUNCE BACK IN KATSINA

CAF Confederations Cup campaigners, Akwa United this morning left for a rescheduled matchday 10 encounter against Katsina United aboard Dana Airlines.

The team, comprising of 18 players and officials have vowed to do their best to make sure they come back with maximum points to keep them on track for the league title.

The Promise Keepers will be hoping to bounce back from a disappointing home draw against Abia Warriors. The team is currently missing the services of midfield sensation, Aniekeme Asuquo, Adeshina Gata and Aminu Nuhu along with the Technical Adviser of the team Abdu Maikaba who are all away with the National U20 team in Egypt.

Missing through injury are Dennis Nya, Godspower Igudia and Cyril Olisema.

The team will tackle the Chanji Boys on Thursday at the Mohammed Dikko Stadium, Katsina
