YOU ARE A MISCHIEF MAKER; PLANET FM HITS AT AKPABIO FOR SAYING ITA ENANG IS A DIRECTOR WITH THEM

The attention of the Board and Management of Planet 101.1 FM has been drawn to the statement credited to the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio during the recent visit of the Acting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Akwa Ibom State, wherein in his remark during the said visit he thanked the Acting President for appointing an Akwa Ibom son the Executive Director of Planet 101.1 FM, Senator Ita Enang as a Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate).

We wish to state without any equivocation that Distinguished Senator Ita Enang is not an Executive director of Planet 101.1 FM neither is he a shareholder nor does he hold any appointment whatsoever with Planet 101.1 FM.

We are a corporate commercial organization and our services are open to all members of the public, the fact that Senator Ita Enang had in the recent past avail himself of our services does not make him an executive director of Planet 101.1FM.

The membership of our board is in the public domain and also within the knowledge of the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, who had also engaged our services in the recent past.

We wish to convey to Senator Ita Enang and the General Public that at no time did we inform or represented to Senator Godswill Akpabio that Senator Ita Enang is an Executive Director of Planet 101.1 FM, this erroneous statement is strictly the machination of Senator Godswill Akpabio.
