Secret Reporters

All is currently not well with the students’ community in Delta State following allegations of looting and stealing of money meant for students by the Special Assistant on Students Affairs, Jerry Ehiwario.

Secrets Reporters can report unchallenged even by a competent court of law that Ehiwario diverted the money given to the students by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to his private account.

According to findings by our reporters, Okowa released a staggering sum of Four Million and Sixty Five thousand Naira through the Permanent Secretary of Government House to Jerry, for him to share to students during the Christmas celebration.

As soon as the SA got the money, he negotiated for locally made rice sold for Ten Thousand Naira per bag, instead of Mama Gold and other rice that do not easily get spoilt.

Jerry who has joined bad gang only bought 170 bags of rice which cost him only N1.7 million, while he smiled to his private accounts in Zenith and GTB with N2.3 million.

Out of the 170 bags, he gave two bags to each of the town post which has fourteen of them. He also gave National Association of Delta State Students Union (NADESSTU) ten bags and twenty bags to those he called stakeholders.

Others who benefitted are the three senatorial coordinators whom he gave ten bags while he gave eight bags to a faction of the NANS-JCC that he recognized. The Personal Assistant on Students Affairs to the governor was also given beggarly eight bags, while he took home ninety four bags, alongside his financial loot.

Jerry who has become notorious for diverting funds at every given opportunity continues to enjoy his office and ears of the governor instead of getting the boot.
