THE SWINDLING EX GOVERNOR OF NIGER STATE, MUAZU ALIYU AND HIS SSG EMBEZZLED OVER N48MILLION NAIRA FOR PRINTING OF DOCUMENTS

Secrets Reporters undercover reports on the former governor of Niger State, Muazu Babangida Aliyu and his then Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Saidu Idris continues as documents in our possession proves that the former governor and members of his cabinet were in a looting spree of the resources of Niger State.

In a letter written by the then SSG, Mr. Saidu Idris to Muazu, on January 2, 2014,requesting for the sum of fourty eight million,nine hundred and fifty thousand naira only, which was approved by the thief servant on the 6th of January, 2014,for printing of council documents.

The former SSG had requested for the publication of council documents from January 2011, to December, 2013.

The breakdown which he sought approvals are as follows:

Production of 6 volumes of conclusions which was valued at eighteen million naira.

Production of 6 volumes of memoranda which was put at twenty one million naira.

One volume of summary of decisions had cost two million, five hundred thousand naira.

Production of 1000 CD Rom was placed at three million naira.

The cost of editing, vetting, transportation and logistics of all staff of the department was valued at four million, four hundred and fifty thousand naira.

With a total of fourty eight million, nine hundred and fifty thousand naira which was approved and released to them, further information exposed that the monies was shared between Muazu Aliyu and his cabinet members, with the SSG going home with the lion share with his boss.

Secrets Reporters check reveals than the money was never used but disappeared with Muazu’s cabal in the state.
