Local Government workers in Bayelsa State may soon pelt Governor Seriake Dickson with sachet water and stones if his plan to make life more miserable to them sails through.
Seriake’s government of restoration which is fast turning into a government of backwardness is set to start deducting the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2000) from LG workers salaries for yet to be identified reason (s), we can authoritatively report.
The workers unfriendly governor had earlier imposed personal income tax on everybody doing business in Bayelsa, so much that they barely have enough as take home pay or profit at the end of the month.
Sources disclosed that the workers have held meeting towards staging protests in the state and shut down economic activities.
Sources disclosed that the governor who is yet to even pay retirees arrears keep appointing irrelevant aides, which is serviced with the hard earned tax payer money, while the senior citizens have turned to fasting and prayer for God to make the governor listen to their plea.
The governorship election in the state will take place on December 5th 2015.
