Music they say is an outburst of the soul and indeed, many people tend to let it out once they are engulfed by it. This was the case of the Rude Boy of Nigerian music, Mr. Paul Okoye, as he was clearly seen in a recent video posted on his twitter handle, letting it out by praising God with the popular Igbo gospel song AKANCHWA by Princess Njideka Okeke.
Listening to the song while driving, the half of Psquare noted “When you don’t forget your root #proudlyigbo #kingrudy #akanchawa might go on a remix on this” and copied the owner of the song, Princess Njideka Okeke
Njideka who has been out of the music scene for over five years, since the breakup with her musician husband, Gozie Okeke, was elated and hinted that she’s “planning the remix but will be so beautiful if we (referring to Paul) do it together…unlimited grace follow you”
“Oh my God! Oh my God! U just made my day soooo happy…Thanks so much brother…Can’t stop dancing”, she concluded.
Princess Njideka Okeke left the music scene to pursue an acting career in Nollywood, which couldn’t catapult her like music, before she turned back to her first love and also reunited with her husband.
From the chat between the two popular musicians, it is likely that a remix to the much celebrated worship song “AKANCHWA” is underway.
