The Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Prof. Nelson Braimbraifa within the shortest period in office has not just proven to be an alleged carrier of corruption but also a strong member of the corruption evangelists as there are alleged impending reports on his glaring nefarious activities which involve the embezzlement of funds meant for the masses into his personal coffer. 

SecretReporters gathered that the MD who was appointed on the 25th of  January, 2019, has allegedly awarded contract worth millions of Naira to Scott Tommy; a preeminent oil and gas businessman who has a glaring record of fraud and has been on the blacklist of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) owing to his unscrupulous acts.

Our sources within the commission disclosed that Prof. Nelson who is less than six months old in office upon his appointment turned his office into a philanthropic centre as several ladies who allegedly are his girlfriends and cronies countlessly troupe in to receive their share of the embezzled money.

These ladies we learned also work in collaboration with the family of the Director and in turn, gives kickbacks to his wife and sons, notably is the GiftyGift Design Limited which was given a contract to furnish his apartment worth over N200 Million Naira.

His sons have also started living extravagant lifestyles as sources noted that they have leveraged on this golden opportunity to turn the Business Development Company (BDC) into their regular banks collecting 30% kickbacks paid in hard currencies before paying helpless contractors.

Sources also revealed that one of Nelson’s sons, who is fully involved in the illegal transactions allegedly spends over $5000 dollars per night sleeping with one of his girlfriends simply identified as Sandra Iwoks.
