Ahead of 2019 general election, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has overtime preached on the need for politicians representing various political parties to be transparent when tendering documents containing their personal details hence the need for an affidavit.

However, these politicians have proven to be hoaxers in a bid to claim advocacy for their selfish interest thereby justifying their malicious actions by falsifying their details.

SecretReporters gathered that Thomas Ereyitomi the PDP flag bearer vying to represent Warri North/Warri South/Warri South-west in the green chambers in the 9th assembly may have allegedly lied under oath in his affidavit presented to the electoral umpire for the 2019 general elections as certain discrepancies were uncovered in his form C.F. 001 received on the 18th October 2018.

Though documents tendered by the businessman shows that he finished from Delta State University, Abraka, where he claimed to have obtained both his first and Masters Degree (Political Science and Public Administration), his WAEC result which clearly shows an overwhelming failure tends to prove otherwise as a copy of the result obtained by this online news medium shows that out of the eight(8) recorded subjects he sat for at Ogidigben Grammar School, Thomas Ereyitomi was only able to make one (1) credit in Economics , one (1) pass in Bible Knowledge, with a fail in the other subjects which include English, History, Mathematics, Biology and Commerce.

According to admission requirements in Nigerian universities, a candidate for an undergraduate program is expected to have at least five (5) credits including English and Mathematics before being admitted into any degree program, however, this seems not to be the case of the F9 parallel major who was able to gain admission into a university like Delta State University (DELSU) unperturbed using his F9 credentials, without a second sitting, an act that still remains questionable if DELSU is now a dumping ground for illiterates.

More so, despite INEC stating clearly that all information provided must be true and correct, Thomas Ereyitomi who made a declaration before a commissioner of oaths sworn at the High Court Registry Warri that answers, facts, and particulars he submitted in the form C.F. 001 are true and correct allegedly did not indicate that he worked with DESOPADEC in the column for “Work Experience” as expected rather he only indicated that he worked with Tomba Resources, a company solely owned by him, through which he continues to fleece Chevron and turn workers to slaves. A copy of his revenue receipt proved otherwise as the Business name/Organization showed “DESOPADEC”.

It is also pertinent to note that there exists discrepancies in his total income as seen in his 3 year Income Tax Clearance Certificate dated 5th September 2018 which bears a total of N2, 912,082.32 for 2016, with an increment of about N2,080,058.36 for 2017 as against his previous N416, 011.76 received in 2015 with the source of income clearly stated as “PAY AS YOU EARN”.

Various documents seen by SecretReporters as submitted by the ‘confident operator” Thomas Ereyitomi was laced with lies.
