As investigation continues in the yet to be unraveled mysteries surrounding the maltreatment of police rank and file by a Chief Superintendent of Police, Alani Waheed, Secret Reporters findings have proven that, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of counter terrorism, Remi Opadukun, has continued shielding his ethnic brother, CSP Alani Waheed, which facts at our disposal proves that, his son, was involved in cult related activities, but was freed by his father’s connection in the force, and his relationship with AIG Remi Opadukun.

Sources say, in 2013, one sergeant Effiong Anwakang and his team had recovered a stainless automatic pistol that uses 9mm ammunition, which CSP Alani, who is the commander of CTU in Owerri took to his house, and his son, who is a student at Igbenedion University, Okada in Edo State, was caught with the same pistol, and arrested, which he confessed he took from his father, but CSP Alani, according to findings, spent over five hundred thousand Naira(N500,000) to free him, which his son was later expelled from the university.

Not done with this travail, Alani proceeded to Madonna University, Okija, to secure another admission for his son.
Highly placed sources informed Secret Reporters that, haven paid heavily for his son, Alani increased his weekly returns from N20,000 a week to N60,000 a week from one checking point to the other, and created 19 checkpoints to recover his money, from where he loaned police vehicles to banks.

Not done with his maverick style, Alani converted a big exhibit generator recovered from kidnappers hideout by Inspector Asley Tayowmi and his team, which was deposited in the armoury, to his personal use in his house.

Further checks reveal that, Alani has converted his residential quarters to an exhibit room, where he takes exhibit to, and never returns it to the armoury.

He has boasted yet again, that the AIG Remi who is his godfather, can never allow anyone touch him in the force.
Efforts to speak with the AIG was unsuccessful, as his mobile number 080343680** was switched off.
