Controversial Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has engaged in another blunder after the ‘go and die’ scandal.
The governor who was doing inspection round Benin City yesterday stopped midway and called a young girl of about eleven years old, selling plantain chips and bought from her amidst displeasure from Benin residents.
Residents who spoke to us condemned the governor for such action. “That girl is a small girl who ought to be in school. Instead of him to frown at it, discourage it and probably send her to school; he is busy buying plantain from her. He wants to show humility but this one failed him”, expressed one of such residents. Others who spoke to us also towed the same line of thought.
The governor has become notorious of late, since his ban on okada through n executive fiat.
