Sensing that he’s fast losing appeal in the eyes of Anambrarians, Gov. Wille Obiano, popularly known as Willie Kai Kai in the state for allegedly drinking to stupor in event has decided to play a fast one on those he governed.
According to an informed source, the governor has embarked on a visit to all the 326 wards in the state to test his acceptability towards 2017 gubernatorial election. This will be determined by how the ward people come out to receive him, as well as the manner of the reception accorded him and his entourage.
A source within his cabinet revealed that after each visit, the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Naira is given to ward representative and party faithful for ‘kola’.
Apart from the money given to the ward members, special interest groups that have no specific definition are splashed with the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira.
In all of these movements, the National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has been sidelined while the former one, Mr Victor Umeh who allegedly still gets his N20 million monthly dues is the one following the champagne guzzling governor around.
