The last may not have been heard of the arrest of Omoyele Sowore, the Publisher of the USA based Sahara Reporters. Even though he was released yesterday by the Police, information available to Secret Reporters reveals that the order by the Police to Sowore to report back at the Panti Police Station today was to deal with him for all his damning investigative reports against many top Nigerians, especially in the political class.

Information at the disposal of this medium shows that since after the arrest yesterday by the Police on the pretext of an alleged threat to life on Checkout International Magazine’s publisher, Lekan Fatodu, was just a smoke screen to cover up the real persons behind Sahara Reporters Publisher ordeal.

Sowore may be framed up today on trumped up charges and charged to court and subsequently imprisoned, according to a source.

As learnt by this medium, it was gathered that several top politicians including serving governors are the persons behind Sowore’s recent arrest.

We learnt on good authority that the Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose and the Senate President, Bukola Saraki are among those pulling the strings. We also pieced information together that there have been calls from top politicians to keep him, adding that he is not invulnerable after all.

Moreso, Lekan according to a source received a call from Gov, Fayose yesterday congratulating him for a job well done.

In a phone conversation with Secret Reporters on Thursday, Sowore stated that this is not new to him, having been a student union leader and was arrested quite a timber of time. He narrated how the Commissioner of Police was rude to him and his lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, while pouring out insults in vengeance of expository reports carried out against the command by Sahara Reporters.
