Information available to Secret Reporters is that very ambitious Nigerian Senator, Mr Ovie Omo-Agege had his best Christmas and New Year in the last eight years since he left political position.
While he was all smiles, we can report that those he represents in the Red Chambers were not so lucky, as he refused to give out celebration gifts and items to his people like his Delta North and Delta South colleagues did.
According to a very competent source, Delta Central people especially those in Ughelli were expecting that Omo-Agege will come back home to share bags of rice that has become so expensive in the market, like other politicians did but got the shock of their lives when he did none of such.
We gathered that he bought only few bags to family members and loved ones and shut his doors against those who actually voted for him. The money meant for constituency projects and empowerment of his district found its way into private pockets, while a first timer like him; Peter Nwaoboshi splashed items worth few millions of Naira on his own people.
When asked why he didn’t deem it fit to dole out items and cash gifts during the yuletide, a close source confided in us that “Oga is saving money for 2019. You know that it has been long since he touched government money, so this is the time to recoup back all the money he spent contesting all these years. Oga is not a stingy man like you know, but right now, he wants to gather enough for the battle ahead”.
Not a single person was paid in December 2016 we can also report with all credibility. Those he ought to pay will be receiving their stipends tomorrow, we gathered.

I write to rebuff the wicked report by a nameless author alleging that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege absconded with monies meant for the empowerment of his Constituents.The title of this post will suggest that there is money set aside in the Senate for Senators to distribute rice during the yuletide season for his constituents. Ordinarily, going by the sheer ignorance of the author as exhibited in the title and content, it would have been appropriate to leave this post unanswered but according to Karl max, “to leave an error unrefuted, will lead to intellectual immorality”.
I will like to state clearly, that, knowing Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and his antecedents in the red chambers, it is very clear that he is there to make a difference; to redefine representation thus to expect him to have chosen the same old path of distributing rice to his Constituents is rather unfortunate. The author would have saved himself the embarrassment of misinforming the public by getting in touch with his ever open team for information rather than continue with the hang of the bad belle following the sack of their ballot thieves by the distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
It will interest mischief makers that, the distinguished Senator have a bumper empowerment package for the people of Delta Central in the coming days .This package will no doubt redefine empowerment in a sustainable manner. The Senator is committed to ensuring that our people are taught how to fish and not wait for them to be given fish.I invite this faceless author to join us and be courageous to enlist and Senator Omo-Agege unleashes his bumper empowerment package in the first quarter of 2017. May I also add that as at today, nobody on his pay roll is been owed, You can verify this from his retinue of persons that draws salaries from him.
