Information available to Secret Reporters is that very ambitious Nigerian Senator, Mr Ovie Omo-Agege had his best Christmas and New Year in the last eight years since he left political position.

While he was all smiles, we can report that those he represents in the Red Chambers were not so lucky, as he refused to give out celebration gifts and items to his people like his Delta North and Delta South colleagues did.

According to a very competent source, Delta Central people especially those in Ughelli were expecting that Omo-Agege will come back home to share bags of rice that has become so expensive in the market, like other politicians did but got the shock of their lives when he did none of such.

We gathered that he bought only few bags to family members and loved ones and shut his doors against those who actually voted for him. The money meant for constituency projects and empowerment of his district found its way into private pockets, while a first timer like him; Peter Nwaoboshi splashed items worth few millions of Naira on his own people.

When asked why he didn’t deem it fit to dole out items and cash gifts during the yuletide, a close source confided in us that “Oga is saving money for 2019. You know that it has been long since he touched government money, so this is the time to recoup back all the money he spent contesting all these years. Oga is not a stingy man like you know, but right now, he wants to gather enough for the battle ahead”.
