ECONOMY VAMPIRES: GTBANK OPENS FRAUDULENT SECRET DOLLAR ACCOUNT FOR BUHARI’S SGF TO BUY N470 MILLION PROPERTY IN ABUJA

After allegedly bankrolling Jimi Agbaje failed ambition to become Governor of Lagos State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), one of Nigeria’s top flying banks has found a way to warm its heart into the Muhammadu Buhari’s led government through the backdoor.

Very credible sources have revealed to Secret Reporters that Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) has struck a dangerous deal with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal that is not only against banking ethics but smells of corruption.

We gathered authoritatively that GTB secretly opened a domiciliary account for the SGF where millions of dollars was stashed and in return, he took a ‘loan’ in Naira from the bank.

The money in the domiciliary account according to our source will be used to service the loan. But there is a trick involved. sources say, “The loan is also his own cash, but they made it look as if he took it”, the high powered source claimed.

From the money which GTB helped him to hide, Babachir has acquired a multi million Naira House valued at N470 million. The house is located at No. 63 Jason Martin Street, Asokoro.

Babachir is not the only top official that GTB is conniving with to defraud the nation, according to one of our sources. Two ministers and a former governor from the South South currently maintain secret account with the bank serving as cover for them. The details of the account owned by these prominent politicians are still sketchy, but will be provided once our newsroom is through with investigation.

Calls placed to Meksley Nwagboh of the Corporate Communications Department to get the bank’s side of the story were not answered neither did he return our calls before we went to press.
