The last may not have been heard of the many evil that has befallen the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Jos, as the training school has been converted to a mere secondary school with the Rector, spearheading the activities.

Secret Reporters informed sources in the institution said, the lecturers are not well paid as compared to the volume of work they do, and monies made from the institution’s internally generated revenue are not remitted to the parent body neither is it used to purchased hi-tech equipment for students learning.

The Rector we learnt makes withdrawals indiscriminately with flimsy reasons, with no vouchers to show for withdrawals, as students are made to rent production equipment.

When Secret Reporters spoke with some of the students in the college, they expressed their dismay regarding extortion, maltreatment and the inability of the one-man- management to approve the constitution of SUG.

The Rector we gathered does not have the required qualification to be the Rector of the college, as she has hitherto been hiding her academic qualification from the staff of the college and from the public.

Our findings reveal that, she was formerly at NIPSS, and immediately efforts were made to investigate her certificate, she resigned and considering the fact she had a sister who held an executive position in NTA she influenced her appointment as the Rector which she never merited.
