The children of late Chief Deruviesa Governor Uloho of Ughelli North in Delta State may well begin to start digging their graves as they may start dying one after the other, family sources confided in Secret Reporters.
According to information at our disposal, there is currently a tussle over a land between Senator James Manager representing Delta South and the family.
The land which span 20.80 acres caught the eyes of Manager who decided to sieze it from them in a bid to build a country home which will cost over N200 million.
According to our source, Manager claimed to have bought the land from the family, but fact findings by this medium can authoritatively report that not a dime was paid for it, as the family does not want to sell it.
The prime land situated along P.T.I road was originally bought by Uloho from the Uwhe family of Effurun vide a deed of conveyance dated 16th November 1972 and registered as No 22 at page 22 in volume 165 of the lands registry in Benin City.
Upon purchase of the land, Uloho started planting seasonal crops on it yearly, till he died and the children took over. This land we gathered was broken into by Manager who erected a cement fence on a part of it measuring 4.822 acres and verged yellow in survey plan No ER/DT/148/2016 dated 8th February 2016.
All entreaties to make him withdrawn from the land has proved abortive, rather he has threatened to kill the head of the family, Mr Emuobosa Uloho, a Pastor with Winners Chapel for daring to challenge him.
The Pastor has since dragged him before the High Court in Effurun with suit No. EHC/122/2016. Since the suit was instituted, Manager has been running away from being served.
