Secrets Reporters
The Managing Director of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Communities (DESOPADEC), Mr Williams Makinde will soon be a guest of the Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC), if information made available to Secrets Reporters is anything to go by.
Barely three months in office, Makinde is already running DESOPADEC like a personal company in connivance with the commissioners, our sources in the board has told us.
The former Chairman of the board, Mr Oritsua Kpogho left the sum of 2 billion in the account, but as we write, the current board members and Makinde have almost emptied the treasury.
We gathered that out of the N2 billion left, Sterling Bank who operates the account of the board seized N1.5 billion, as money they borrowed the commission to pay contractors, leaving them with the sum of five hundred million.
Out of the N500 million, the sum of One Hundred Million Naira was paid to Daily Independent as part payment of the N350 million for adverts space, while the sum of N280 million is currently unaccounted for.
Our squealer also noted that Makinde and the commissioners will be signing away a watery sum of N120 to share among them on 4th November 2014 when they meet.
Hmmm…u gotta work on your grammar and, importantly, facts. Good to blow the cover anyway.
