ANNOINTED CANDIDATE OBUH SET TO RESCUE GOV UDUAGHAN FROM EFCC TRAP AFTER SQUANDERING BILLIONS ON AIRPORT AND IPP PROJECT

In a clear bid of admitting failure for wasting Delta State billions on the yet to be fully functional Asaba International Airport and abandoned Independent Power Plant (IPP), Oghara project, one of the major governorship candidate, Sir Anthony Obuh who is a political appendage of Gov Emmanuel Uduaghan has finally promised to rescue the governor from the hands of anti graft agencies that may swoop in on him following numerous petitions written against him.

Despite all the money spent on the Airport, with full payment made, Obuh in a clear case of admitting that the project was a disaster, has promised to come to its aid. Speaking during his mega declaration at the Asaba Cenotaph, he stated that “The completion of all ancillary projects at the Asaba and Osubi Airports to make them functional International Passenger and Cargo Airports will be pursued vigorously. In particular, we will intensify collaborative efforts with the federal government to realize the speedy completion of the cargo terminal of the Asaba International Airport”
The billion Naira IPP contract which was awarded to another gubernatorial aspirant and former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Engr. Victor Ochei, but was never done, despite the money already paid for will also see more money pushed into it by Obuh if elected. While making his declaration speech, he told the stunned audience that “accordingly, we will liaise with the Federal Government to ensure that the State is adequately covered in the National Grid map. In addition, we will ensure the completion of the Independent Power Plant Project.”
