Secret Reporters
While Nigerians continually battle for fuel, those saddled with responsibility of refining petrol products but unable to do so are living large of the sweat off its citizens, SecretReporters can confirm.
One of those chilling with the big boys is Muhammad Abali who is the General Manager of Warri Refinery and Petrochemical Company (WRPC).
Documents available to us revealed how he squandered over N300 million just to own a hotel room in one of the sprawling hotels in Marsa Dubai. While buying the property he registered it with his official email of Muhammad.abali@nnpcgroup.com, with 19th September 1962 as his date of birth.
His international passport number attached to the property document is A04642489 which was issued to him on 3rd June 2013 and expired on 2nd June 2018.
Sources within the Code of Conduct Bureau when contacted by our reporter noted that the property is not listed in his assets declaration form, an act which contravened the public service law.
Findings indicate that properties such as hotel rooms go for three million dirham and high as ten million dirham.
