EXCLUSIVE: DELTA GOVERNOR OKOWA MOVES TO SACK ALL DESOPADEC MEMBERS AND ZONE NEW MD TO UDU LGA

Baring last minute change of plans, the Delta State Governor, Mr Ifeanyi Okowa will be kicking out all the board members of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) before the end of September.
The current board members known for their wanton looting and very corrupt practices have been pissing off the Governor, whom we gathered can’t wait to dissolve them, and has finally found the nerves to do so, if pressure is not mounted on him to leave them again, like it was done three months ago, relayed a reliable source to SecretReporters.
The Governor is currently shopping for a new Managing Director, whom we gathered has been zoned to Udu LGA. The MD and new board members according to our well informed sources must be ready to foot a huge part of the election bill for 2019, which means that the Commission will only be a tool for siphoning of funds as it has been since 2015.
Three people are already jostling to take over as MD we learned.
