Female Immigration Officers in #BopDaddy Challenge

Secret Reporters

While many ladies chose to engage in it as a means of cushioning the boredom occasioned by the coronavirus-induced lockdown across the country, the Bop Daddy challenge introduced by rapper Falz has landed five female immigration officer in forgotten state commands ravaged by banditry and insurgency as disciplinary action by the Nigerian Immigration Service.

According to a document obtained by this online news medium dated May 12, 2020, with reference number NHS/HQ/ADM/4422/V/684 from the office of the Deputy Comptroller General Nigerian Immigration Service headquarters, one of the female officers, Priscilla Irabor, currently serving in the Lagos state command LASC has been transferred to the Nigeria Immigration Training School, Kano (ITSK) rumoured among officers to be a land of no return and a forgotten ground as there is no redemption once you are posted there.

The posting order which was duly stamped and signed by Iam Haliru Assitant Comptroller General HRM for the service also saw Ockiya Eneni reposted from the FCTC (Abuja) Command to the Akwa Ibom State Command AKSC.

Catherine Bakura was moved from the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Enugu to the Nigeria Immigration Training School Ahoada in Rivers State, a facility with no life, while the duo of Blessing Alfred Udida and Binti Attabor were both served the hottest dish as they were transferred from Service headquarters in Abuja SHQ (Serv) to the insurgency stricken Yobe State Command YBSC and the CERPAC PROD (Combined Expatriate Residence Permit and Aliens Card production facility) to the Borno State Command respectively.

The officers who are to bear their travel cost were also given a minimum of seven days to report to their new commands as a compliance report was mandated to be filled-in on or before the 19th by the commands concerned.

A source in the know, however, disclosed that the transfer was allegedly initiated by top conservative bosses in the NIS as a form of punishment to the female officers after the media broke the news that a query was issued to the officers in April, because to them, participating in the #BopDaddy challenge was a violation of the organization’s ethics and code of conduct.
