FIGHT TO DEATH: SEX TOY SENATOR ABBO SETS TO DEAL WITH ADAMAWA GOV. FINTRI FOR BEING A SMALL MAN

Adamawa State known to be home to heavyweight political actors in Nigeria may soon be in the news following the royal rumble which might go do in days to come between Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and Senator Elisha Abbo.

In an audio obtained by SecretReporters, it was gathered that a face-off may likely occur again between Governor Fintiri and Senator Elisha Abbo representing Adamawa North Senatorial district in the 9th Assembly over what has been described as the Governor playing god over party members in the state.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which have ruled the state for years, in 2015 suffered a deadly blow from the All Progressives Congress (APC) having lost the Presidential, Governorship, 3 Senatorial and 7 out of 8 House of Representative seats during the general elections leaving them at the mercy of their opposition which according to the Senator was largely due to the mismanagement of the state party affairs.

However, Senator Elisha Abbo who claimed to have sold most of his properties to finance the party’s campaigns in 2019 revealed that barely three months after his swearing-in following the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections, Governor Fintiri who also won as the party’s gubernatorial candidate allegedly began running the state as well as party affairs like a gangster.

“I as a person, I know my sacrifices. I sold virtually everything I have to bring back PDP, and we later won the elections. Suddenly after winning the election, the Governor thinks he’s the alpha and omega, he can do and undo. He doesn’t see anybody as a party stakeholder in Adamawa State, he constituted himself into a demigod….He began running the party like a gangster, at best that is gangsterism.” Senator Abbo lamented.

It was also gathered that few weeks to the party’s local government chairmanship elections, Governor Fintiri gave a directive that all PDP local government party chairmen should become the local government transition committee chairman pending when elections will be conducted.

Determined to take his pound of flesh, the Senator who faced a public backlash following his slapping episode in a sex toy shop also revealed that Governor Fintiri disqualified 24 party leaders from contesting local government elections including the then PDP state deputy chairman because they did not vote for him during the party primaries which eventually brought him into power.

Senator Abbo in the audio further revealed that Governor Finitri was nothing but a religious and tribal two-edged sword who during his campaigns approached Christians in the church requesting them to vote for him since they are not Fulanis so they can fight the Fulanis together while he also secretly approached the Fulanis requesting them to vote for him because they are Muslims.

“I have always said it when you take a small man and give him a big office; he takes the office and brings it down to his level instead of growing to the level of the office. That is what happens when you take small people and give them big offices. The Governor is a small man; he’s bringing the office to his level. He is a small man. I am a formidable opposition to whoever I want to oppose, he’s looking at me that I want to contest for 2023 governorship election, who knows if you will be alive in 2023?” Senator Elisha reiterates.

Senator Abbo in a recent comment on a social media platform also hinted on political might over the state governor. In his words “I made Fintiri Governor. I deployed my boys to stop rigging in Mubi and Fintiri won with a slim margin of less than 36k votes.”

Many believe that while this power tussle continues within the ruling party in Adamawa State, there may be a repeat of the landslide defeat the party suffered in the 2015 general elections, as Senator Abbo in October last year has been quoted for opining that PDP in Adamawa State is sick and admitted on an intensive care unit with an oxygen mask attached to it and the party may die if the oxygen is taken away.
