WE’LL HELP YOU UNSEAT PRESIDENT BUHARI WITH OUR 16MILLION MEMBERS IN NIGERIA – A NOTORIOUS THUG OSAKPANWAN ERIYO WRITES ATIKU A SECRET LETTER

A notorious thug Osakpanwan Eriyo and a self-confessed APC stalwart have written to Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, the Presidential Candidate of PDP in the 2019 general election,

offering to work with him and PDP to unseat President Muhammadu Buhari, a secret letter which was exchanged between the duo, exclusively obtained by LeadingReporters has revealed.

The leaked letter, exclusively obtained by this platform dated 5^th October, 2018, was signed by the Comrade Yusuf Adeniyi, on behalf of Osapkanwan Eriyo, and addressed to the Director-General of Atiku Campaign Organization, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Eriyo offered to deliver over 16 million RTEAN members to Atiku to enable him to unseat the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.

Osakpanwan Eriyo former member of RTEAN, was indefinitely suspended for criminal and nefarious activities by the Alhaji Shehu Musa Isiwele-led Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria RTEAN.

Following his suspension from RTEAN, Eriyo was said to have connived with then National Secretary of RTEAN Comrade Yusuf Adeniyi and invaded the national secretariat of RTEAN in Zone 7 in the company of armed thugs, threatening to kill the National President Alhaji Musa Isiwele if sighted an inch close to the secretariat. Eriyo was said to have commissioned his thugs to carry out this illegality, claiming he has the backing of APC stalwarts.

The sacked Osakpanwan Eriyo, LeadingReporters learnt, offered Comrade Yusuf Adeniyi millions of Naira bribe and promised to make him the Deputy National Chairman of RTEAN if he would join him to force Alhaji Isiwele out of office as the National Chairman of the organization.

An offer Yusuf Adeniyi succumbed to and staged an in-house rebellion against the National Chairman of RTEAN – Alh. Isiwele. 

Yusuf afterward addressed a press conference, announcing that he has removed Alh. Isiwele as RTEAN Chairman and replaced him with his benefactor Osakpanwan Eriyo, an action which contravenes the constitution of the association.

Alhaji Isiwele who was then on official assignment in another state, upon return to Abuja was denied entry into his office at RTEAN National Headquarters.  His office was ransacked, turned upside down and surrounded by armed thugs who we learnt were working for Eriyo.

We learnt that Alhaji Isiwele being a retired law enforcement agent understood the danger of engaging Eriyo fire for fire, resorted to the court for relieving, insisting that the union’s constitution has been violated. “The Union has a constitution and election into every office of the Union follows the constitution of the union”. 

“Rebellion is an illegal act.  No one rebels against laid down rules and constitution. This is total illegality and the law must take its course”.  Alhaji Isiwele once told this medium.
