Except there’s last minute change of plan, the new Warri/Uvwie Development agency that will soon be passed into law by the Sheriff led Delta State House of Assembly, will be the new cash cow of former lawmaker, Efe Ofobruku of Uvwie local government area, SecretReporters has reliably gathered.

The agency which is an executive bill by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is modeled after the Asaba Capital Development Authority.

According to our various sources, the bill was vehemently defended by Ofobruku, who used to be a pauper, driving a Mercedes Benz that was oozing out smoke everywhere he goes, until he hit jackpot by becoming a lawmaker and suddenly became a multi millionaire, to the detriment of the development of Uvwie.

Ofobruke we gathered was asked not to run for re-election with promise of compensation of a juicy position, which is the new agency. He won his previous elections into the State House of Assembly through opposition political parties but has always defected to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the floor of the house.

Another person who has his eyes on the plum job is Mr Daniel Mayuku alias Bossman, who was also a state lawmaker for four times but hung his boot to get a shot at the Federal level and lost to Thomas Eriyetomi.
