Popular Nigerians pastor, Mr Matthew Ashimolowo has stirred the controversial waters few months after being caught in religious fraud in London.

This time around, he has mandated his members to donate to his ministry in dollars according to the number of years they have spent on earth. Ashimolowo who is worth over $10 million separated the shocked congregation into Naira and dollar categories, depending on how truly they want to live long.

“For every year you have lived on earth, I want you to give a N100… No sorry, a N1,000 Naira. If you have lived on earth for 35 years, you give N35,000. You have lived 60 years, you give N60,000.

“Those who are paying one thousand dollars to the left while those paying in Naira to the right. Thousand dollars to the left, thousand Naira to the right, those that are doing the both, to the middle.“Get out of your seats” said the Pastor.

The founder of Kingsway International Christian Center, United Kingdom has however come under criticism since the video went viral noting that it’s another way of duping poor church members while they smile to the bank

“Probably those ones who have dollars would stay in estate heaven and those ones with naira would just stay in pako heaven! SMH and the congregations are still busy making nonsense noise at the background when a man clearly wants to make you go bankrupt!”, a commentator stated.
