Despite poverty ravaging the north and Nigerians languishing in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps, Nigeria’s 1oth richest billionaire Mohammed Indimi, has donated a 4.2billion Naira complex named after him to Lynn University, in Florida, United States of America.
According to sources, the Borno-born billionaire, Mohammed Indimi’s daughters, Amouna and Hauwa, graduated from the University of Lynn, in Florida.
We gathered that, the joyous billionaire Mohammed, donated a $14 million (N4.2 billion) complex named after him as “Mohammed Indimi International Business Center” to Lynn University as part of the activities of the University Commencement Day.
Findings show that, Indimi made his billions in Nigeria from oil wells his military dictator friend awarded him, and he is the Chairman, CEO of Oriental Oil and Gas and is reported as the tenth richest billionaire in Nigeria.
Further checks reveal that, the Borno-born billionaire, Mohammed Indimi has never donated a pencil or wooden chair to any Nigerian University, including the University of Maiduguri which is his home state institution, or any University in the Niger Delta neither endowing a chair in any Nigerian university.
Sources said, “Ironically, he can afford to endow a chair and donate a $14 million complex to a US University, which by the way does not even need such gesture from him.”
“Hundreds of internally displaced persons in Borno state needs his Robinhood-like assistance from what he has stolen from the people.”
Mohammed has been identified to be one of the billionaires who have stolen the common wealth of the people, yet has contributed to the under development of Nigeria. Informed sources.
