Secret Reporters

Last week, we published a report on how Drs.Uwugiaren Nosakhare Jackson and Lancy Orhue masterminded the death of patients at FMC, Asaba.

Today, we continue the next series on that story. Reports has it that, they were carrying out a strike action, as ordered by the Nigerian Medical Association and so all patients should be thrown out of the hospital, whether they were dying or not, until their demands were met.

Every plea by family members and friends, who were at FMC at that time, to at least allow them look for alternative places to take their sick people fell on deaf ears as the ARD gang of Doctors physically dragged the beds out and threw down some patients who were too weak to stand up on time, as they carried out their forceful evacuation. Henry’s colleagues, who were still with him quickly reached out to his Doctor on phone to recommend another hospital for him and they had started the journey to the next place, when Henry, whose condition had been dangerously aggravated by the pandemonium and stampede caused by the noise of the ARD strike action, gave up the ghost on the way to the next hospital. Nobody was quite sure, what the demand of the Association of Resident Doctors, ARD that led to the strike were, as some claimed that they had embarked on the action to demand for an increase in the salary of their interns, amongst others, but the sad end of the story is that Henry, Osebia, a young, brilliant, devoted, loving husband, father, Deltan, full of life, vigour and laughter, had passed away in the prime of his life, at the age of 52 years, leaving behind an unfortunate widow and a young family of two lovely boys and one girl, as a result of the wicked actions of Dr. Nosahkare Jackson, Dr. Lancy Orhue and the members of the Association of Resident Doctors, FMC, Asaba, Delta State.

This is not the first time that stories like that of Henry Osebia has happened at the FMC, but the sad part is that those who perpetrate these acts, like Dr. Nosakhare Jackson and Dr. Lancy Orhue are not Deltans and as investigations reveal, do not even live with their families in Delta State and so do not directly feel the impact of what their actions are causing to families and relatives, who have lost beloved friends and relatives as a result of their wicked acts in the name of strike action, while innocent people die.

These Doctors have no respect for the sanctity of life, which they have sworn to protect and are professionally bound to preserve. Their action was carried out even without the constitutional Seven days warning strike which they are mandated by law to observe before embarking on full scale strike.

It was only recently that the National Association of Resident Doctors, even gave the warning of the strike slated to begin on April 25, over two months, after Dr. Uwugiaren and Dr. Orhue had carried out their own illegal, wicked and dastardly act which led to the untimely and careless death of Henry Osebia, as well as others whose relatives are still in shock and mourning to tell the story.

The FMC, Asaba, is fast gaining a terrible and negative reputation as a theatre of death as a result of the actions of the Association of Resident Doctors, ARD, led by the likes of Dr. Nosakhare Jackson and Dr. Lancy Orhue, who many who have lost loved ones at the FMC, people now refer to as harbingers and Doctors of death, instead of being seen as saviours of lives, which is what the medical profession preaches. How many more people will have to die so carelessly and suddenly like the late Henry Osebia, before these Doctors of death at the FMC, Asaba, are called to order in Delta state? Our source queried.

Both Doctors are said to come from Edo State, without the presence of their families in Delta, hence, do not feel what Deltans and other citizens go through.
